Health and Safety 


We aim excellently in health and safety by accomplishing and continually seeking to improve the health and safety management system by ensuring that our responsibilities for health and safety are clearly allocated, understood, monitored, and fulfilled the legal requirements achieved and comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 regulation. Therefore we will act positively to minimise the incidence of all workplace risks and all activities will be carried out with the highest regard for the health, safety and welfare of our staff, and customers.


We will empower our staff by providing high-quality information, instruction, training and supervision to enable them to work safely and effectively and to ensure they are competent and confident in the work they carry out so that we can contribute to creating and maintaining a safe working environment.


Also, the company is committed to creating a positive culture of respect for all individuals including staff, customers, their families as well as community partners. The intention is to identify, remove or minimise discriminatory practice in the areas of race, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age and ‘religion, belief, faith and spirituality as well as to promote the positive practice and value of the diversity of all individuals and communities.

Manage health and safety risks

Provide clear instructions and information, and adequate training, to ensure employees are competent to do their work

Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment 

Ensure safe handling and use of disposable items, substances 

Maintain safe and healthy working conditions 

Implement emergency procedures, including evacuation in case of fire or other significant incidents 

Review and revise this policy regularly 



The policy will be delivered by: 

The development of procedures, protocols and guidelines that meet the requirements of health and safety law 

Provide training such as Health and Safety Awareness, Display Screen Equipment Assessment etc. to assist and implement the Health and Safety management system and to monitor their progress. 

The promotion of health, safety and welfare of all colleagues through campaigns, communications, seminars and questionnaires.



Equipment requirement 


All Electrical equipment has at least CE certificate and will be PAT tested regularly. 




Protecting the rights and privacy 


MedLand is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of individuals in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. It will not share personal data with any third party, but securely store it for its records only. All staff members are fully trained and recognise the Duty of Care due to visiting members of the public by means of polite, professional service, First Aid facilities and Public Liability insurance.



As the business model falls under the retail-demonstration shop category it’s not required any Medical license and does not constitute Health or Medical advice.
